Religious School
Our Commitment to Education
The Tree of Life Congregation Religious Education department serves the varying needs of our temple children and their families. The TOL Religious School curriculum is built on the premise that children and families require continuous Jewish learning in motivating environments. During the child’s early years, we lay the ground work with the building blocks of Jewish education. Torah, Jewish traditions, holidays, prayers, identity, values, the environment, culture, language and history are all part of a solid foundation for the future. As the student grows in our program, we build on those basics, with advanced and broadened subject matter, continuing to reinforce and review key elements of our religion and heritage. Our Religious School staff led by our Rabbi and Religious School Director consists of educated volunteers from our congregation as well as Jewish students attending the colleges and universities in our community. Each brings his/her own area of expertise and understanding of Judaism to our program.
From pre-school to college, we are committed to providing our children and families with multi-faceted learning opportunities and instilling a love for Jewish life, learning and values.
