TOL Community Klatsches
Joining a klatsch is a wonderful way to share an interest with old friends and make some new ones. You can join one or join them all – the more enjoyment you will have! Klatsches are open to all adult members of Tree of Life.
If you have any questions, please email Jeanne Swager.
Book Club Klatsch
The Book Club Klatsch meets once a month, usually on the third Monday evening at 7:30 p.m., to discuss books of a variety of genres that focus on a range of subjects of interest to members of the Congregation.
Our next Klatsch in 2025 will be held on Monday, May 19, at TOL. We will begin with a potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m., followed by our book discussion of The Goddess of Warsaw by Lisa Barr. Please register on the TOL calendar.
The rest of the 2025 meeting dates are July 21, September 15, and November 17.
Dinner with Friends Klatsch
Roughly every two months, a TOL member hosts people at their home for an evening of great food and conversation. Invitations go out a few weeks before the scheduled dinner with information on who the host is and what the the theme of the dinner will be. There also is a Sign Up posted to indicate what you will bring in order to coordinate the food selections.
The next Dinner with Friends will be held on Saturday, May 17. Watch for an invitation, including the evening's theme, at the end of April.
Contact Jeanne Swager for additional information or to let her know that you would like to host a future event.
Klatsch on the Move
For those interested in staying fit, despite all the temptations in our lives (as well as the Dinner Klatsch), a group of TOLers meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. at a predetermined location to walk together. Walks are usually about 1-2 hours and have taken place at a variety of scenic trails in our community. Each week the location is announced in our weekly E-Blast. For more information about Klatsch on the Move, contact Klatsch coordinator, Jeanne Swager.
